Many of you may have read or heard that the court and legal system will be closed through June 1, 2020. This means exactly that. This doesn’t mean that Teddy, Meekins & Talbert, P.L.L.C., is closed. Teddy, Meekins & Talbert, P.L.L.C., remain open and working hard on our client’s cases. Lawyers and law firms are considered “essential businesses” under the Governor’s “Stay-At-Home” order and therefore we are allowed to work at our offices and at home. Teddy, Meekins & Talbert, P.L.L.C., has set up our technology to enable our team to do both in order to work effectively and efficiently and in a manner that keeps our team and their families safe. This includes clients with “new cases”. We have the capability to work with you in a variety of ways to help you and to “meet” you even in these difficult times. We can schedule a telephone conference or a ZOOM video call and if an in-person meeting is necessary, we can schedule a face-to-face meeting while still closely following the CDC Guidelines and the Teddy, Meekins & Talbert, P.L.L.C., safety protocols. Your safety and the safety of our team are our foremost concerns, but we are here for you and we will help you.
